What The Table Record is

The Table Record is a self-hosted application for recording board-game sessions and scores. Each installation is run by whoever operates that instance; that operator controls the data it holds and is your point of contact for any question about it.

What data it stores

• Game data you enter — games, players, teams, sessions, rounds and scores. Player names are whatever the operator or users choose to record.
• Account details, once sign-in is enabled — The Table Record will use OpenID Connect, and will store the name, email address, email verification status and a subject identifier supplied by your identity provider. Sign-in is not enabled yet.
• Your cookie choice — stored in your browser only. See the cookie policy.

The Table Record does not use third-party analytics or advertising, and does not sell or share data with third parties.

Who can see it

Other users of the same instance can see game history and scores. Once accounts are enabled, an email-visibility setting on your profile (“private”, “friends” or “public”) controls who can see your email address; it defaults to private. The instance operator has full administrative access to the data they host.

Retention

Data is kept until it is deleted by you or by the instance operator. There is no automatic expiry of game records.

You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time from the cookie policy page or the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. For access to, correction of, or deletion of your other data, contact the operator of this instance.
